Forclosure Set Aside By Federal Judge
Recently an Atlanta Federal judge set aside a foreclosure action because he found that the large bank backed out of an agreement to modify the homeowners loan under the federal program set up to help troubled homeowners. As business attorneys atlanta, we know how hard it is to win these foreclosure battles. Apparently the bank in this case had approved the modification and sent the contract to the homeowner. The homeowner executed and notarized the document and sent it back to the bank. Later the bank said the notary did not sign on the precise location required and rejected the modificatin and set to foreclosure on the home.
